In 2008 Daniel Cox filed a constitutional referendum to repeal the Ravalli County Growth Policy, in order to stop zoning. After a monumental signature gathering process this petition made the ballot in Nov. of 2008, a majority citizens of Ravalli County voted to repeal the Ravalli County Growth Policy in order to protect their property rights.
